Art Stuff for the Day

I drew this sketch of my friend Jessica today at work....

And did this design for a shirt. It was inspired by one of my friend's tattoo design.

New Painting

Here's one that I finished last week. I don't have a title yet. Any suggestions would be great. It shows the players lined up for the nation anthem.

Vincent Lecavalier Painted Ostrich Egg

Here's my latest project finished. Dion started painting ostrich eggs at the park and let me have one to paint. I was going to paint an animal such as a giraffe or lion to go with the jungle theme at work, but I have a penchant for finding more challenging subjects. I ended up painting Tampa Bay Lightning player Vincent Lecavalier... go figure. I completely wrapped the egg in imagery with 2 action poses, Vinny's portrait, and the secondary logo of the Lightning. I painted it with acrylics and very small brushes. The egg is about 6 inches tall. I think I put about 17 hours into this. I'm not a very quick painter :P

This is the finished egg...

Stuck in a rut... here's a cute one

So I've been stuck in a rut lately trying to exaggerate more faces from the NCN forum. I just haven't been seeing the forms, so to change it up a bit... here's just a fun cute one of a fellow coworker Georgia as Zero Suit Samus. She's a big Super Smash Bros. fan.
